Job Description

To succeed in this role, you must be a highly skilled communicator, be able to quickly understand internal customer needs, and help drive organizational success. This is a leadership and a hands-on position. It is a position focused on the management & deployment of various resources with the focus on creating awareness and need within our segments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage external marketing activities for all B2B lines of business
  • Oversee advertising activities for three professional markets
  • Coordinate trade show activities
  • Develop and execute programs for improved lead generation and market awareness
  • Make professional presentations to trade groups, educational entities, and other constituents
  • Develop and support company Public Relations strategies
  • Negotiate advantageous partnerships and marketing supplier arrangements
  • Interact with the sales force to understand and enhance the rate of closure on lead generation activities
  • Analyze marketing expenditure returns
  • Collect customer feedback to inform product development
  • Collaboration with Sales Management & Sales Teams
  • Manage, train, and supervise staff of Marketing specialists

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or closely related field
  • Minimum or 3 years' experience leading others in professional marketing management role
  • An understanding of the marketing mix and how to harness its components to drive improved profitability
  • An understanding of the consultative sales cycle is helpful
  • Proven ability to achieve positive, measurable results in marketing mix activities
  • An ability to think creatively in positioning a new brand in the North American market
  • A sense of driving projects to closure, and a positive, winning attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
